This position is for a Management Accountant in the manufacturing industry, based in Edinburgh. The successful candidate will be part of the Accounting & Finance team and will be primarily responsible for preparing, developing and analysing key financial information.

Description

• Prepare financial statements, business plans, commentaries and budgets
• Perform and manage internal audits
• Conduct financial investigations, prepare reports, and advise on areas such as the purchase and sale of businesses
• Develop and manage financial systems and policies
• Control income, cash flow and expenditure
• Collaborate with other team members in the Accounting & Finance department
• Manage junior staff when necessary
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and changes in regulations

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

• Relevant educational qualifications in Finance, Accounting or similar field
• Excellent proficiency in financial software
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Understanding of the property industry
