Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust are currently seeking experienced Radiographer to producing high-quality diagnostic imaging across various specialties, including MSK, Gastro-intestinal, Neurology, Gynaecology, Angiography, Thoracic, Head and Neck, Paediatrics, and Urology.

Main duties of the job

  • Produce high-quality diagnostic imaging for multiple specialties, following protocol-driven guidelines.
  • Operate Siemens Aera and GE Signa 1.5T MR scanners.
  • Deliver exceptional patient care, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.
  • Maintain accurate records using the HIVE system.
  • Observe MR safety guidelines and local rules.
  • Perform moving and handling tasks associated with the role.
  • Administer medicines under PGDs and perform intravenous cannulation.
  • Coordinate in-patient scans and manage waiting lists, including urgent slots for Cauda equina and MSCC patients.

To be successful in applying for this role you will need:

  • 2+ years of experience in MR Imaging.
  • Proficiency in operating Siemens Aera and GE Signa 1.5T MR scanners.
  • Skilled in intravenous cannulation and experience working under PGDs.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage scan coordination and prioritization.
