Our professional client is looking for an Account Assistant to join their team in Guildford. This role involves processing client-related transactions promptly and ensuring the company complies with regulations regarding the handling of client funds.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to billing staff with any questions about client accounts.
- Promptly record incoming client payments and receipts.
- Manage the printing, mailing, and depositing of cheques.
- Handle necessary time write-offs.
- Prepare payments using online banking tools for final approval.
- Reconcile client bank accounts for accuracy.
- Process transfers from client accounts.
- Enter and track sales invoices.
- Calculate interest on client balances.
- Manage time-related transfers.
Experience and Skills Requirements
- Must have 1-2 years’ experience of working in an accounts department
- Fast learner who adapts easily.
- Strong communication skills.
- Flexible attitude
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Effective team player.
- Strong computer skills, particularly in Excel.
- Ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Demonstrates professionalism.
