About the Role:

As a Social Worker in the Wrexham Court Team, you will be responsible for preparing court reports, providing expert evidence, and working collaboratively with legal professionals to ensure the best outcomes for children and families involved in court proceedings. Your role will involve conducting assessments, engaging with families, and ensuring that children's voices are heard throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare and present high-quality court reports and assessments for children and families.

* Attend court hearings and provide expert testimony as needed.

* Collaborate with legal professionals, guardians, and other stakeholders to advocate for children's best interests.

* Conduct thorough assessments of family dynamics and child welfare concerns.

* Develop and implement support plans to address identified needs and risks.

* Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with legal and statutory requirements.

* Provide ongoing support to families involved in the court process.

Requirements:

* Qualified Social Worker (Degree in Social Work or equivalent).

* Registration with Social Work England.

* Experience in child protection, family court work, or related areas.

* Strong understanding of relevant legislation, including the Children Act and court procedures.

* Excellent communication, analytical, and report-writing skills.

* Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex cases.
