ABOUT THE SCHOOL

Prospero Teaching are seeking a Qualified Drama Teacher for a position at a Secondary School based in Weston Super Mare. This position will be for KS3 and KS4 year groups.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

• Location - Weston Super Mare
• Position - Drama Teacher
• Start date - September 2024
• Duration / Likely Duration - On going
• Rate of pay - Minimum rate £155- £215
• Hours - 8:20 am - 4pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience working in a UK school
• QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS or equivalent
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year - Safeguarding, Prevent and FGM Training - Prospero can provide the links to complete these, Safeguarding will be at the cost of £11, however prevent and FGM will be free.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application - please note Prospero do not cover the cost but will help in providing the link for application, the current cost of an enhanced DBS certificate is £45.40
• Provide all references from the last two years, must have professional email address, if there are any employment gaps, we must be able to evidence this by obtaining independent evidence, or a character reference.
• An overseas police check is required if you have lived outside of the UK for 6 months in the last 5 years.
