A prestigious global luxury retail brand is currently seeking a skilled Management Accountant to join their team.  This role is perfect for a professional with proven management accounts experience (ideally with a global company) who is ready to take on a challenging yet rewarding position in a fast-paced environment.

Day to Day of the role:

• Prepare month-end journals for key areas of the business.
• Conduct and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations, focusing on wholesale customer balances and stock returns.
• Review selected monthly head office cost centre reports, identifying and explaining key variances.
• Provide line management to a finance assistant.
• Compile weekly and monthly wholesale information for the treasury team.
• Support the year-end statutory audit process.
• Assist with treasury audits.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in management accounts.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
