What are the day-to-day responsibilities of the role:

Reviewing key areas of H&S risks for the company and implementing processes to reduce these risks
Leading the health and safety team to achieve a positive health and safety culture.
Gaining 'buy in' from key decision-makers
Implement best practice and drive continuous improvement
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices
Ownership of all of the company's H&S documentation and H&S training materials
Provide reports to the board of directors as required
Required Skills and Qualifications:

NEBOSH General Certificate - minimum
Working towards Chartership
People management skills and ability to coach and develop other H&S professionals
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience within construction/M& E or electrical installation is preferred
Ability to manage key stakeholders
A self-driven and results-oriented attitude
