We are currently partnering with a Housing Association based in the East Midlands, who are recruiting for Multi-Trade Operatives to join their growing team on a temporary basis for a minimum of 3 months. This position has the opportunity to go permanent.

This is a full-time position with an hourly rate of £23-£25 per hour on a CIS basis.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Conducting quality and efficient building repairs within tenanted and void properties within social housing
• Carrying out a range of works including Plumbing, Carpentry, Tiling, Plastering, Brick Laying, Painting & Decorating, Groundworks and Fencing
• Using a hand-held PDA for all jobs issued, keeping an accurate and timely record of work, accurately recording material allocation and usage, ensuring the closing of completed jobs
• Completing detailed and accurate risk assessments before completing any works, ensuring compliance with corporate health and safety policies

Experience required:

• Experience required in Social Housing
• Experience working with customers within housing
• Experience carrying out Plumbing, Carpentry, Tiling, Plastering, Brick Laying, Painting & Decorating, Groundworks and Fencing

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Risk assessment
• Strong knowledge of trades
• Knowledge of repairs and maintenance within domestic properties

Working hours:

• 40 hours per week
• Monday - Friday, 8.00am-4.30pm
