Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for a Civils Design Co- Ordination Engineer on a permanent basis, located in Scotland
We are seeking a Civils Design Coordination Engineer to lead and deliver civil design and engineering across a range of projects, including renewables, energy and transmission & distribution infrastructure.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to projects that drive the transition to clean energy. Our multidisciplinary team is dedicated to delivering high-quality solutions safely, efficiently, and on schedule using in-house expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
· Coordinate all aspects of civil works design, including loading and sizing calculations, civil guides, plans and layouts, bills of materials, detailed drawings, reports, and documentation.
· Oversee the design of civil structures within substations, including foundations, support structures, buildings, cable trenches, drainage systems, and bunds.
· Ensure designs align with project specifications, safety standards, and industry best practices.
· Drive safety by design, actively participating in hazard review meetings.
· Manage both internal and external civils design resources to support project delivery.
