A genuinely exciting Internal Sales Executive/Technical Sales Executive has arisen with this leading supplier of architectural metal gratings. My client is looking for Internal/Technical Sales Executive with experience of selling into the construction market. If this role sounds of interest please apply ASAP.

LOCATION: The new branch will be based in the Birmingham area, so candidates must live a commutable distance and hybrid working will be an option (once established). Hours of work are typically 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday,

SALARY: Basic salary will be £30k to £40k with another £4k to £6k annual bonus, 25 days holiday and company pension.

You will be selling a wide range of architectural metal gratings, expanded metal, treads and floor gratings to architects, specifiers, designers, fabricators and contractors.

You will be tasked with taking over an existing database of 200/300 contacts/accounts. These will typically be with sub-contractors, fabricators, merchants and architects. Introducing yourself, building relationships with them, in order to quote (and close) for their future projects. You will also be tasked with contacting clients that haven't ordered for some time or requested a quotation but never went ahead with it.

Successful candidates will have 5 years internal sales experience within a technical environment. Knowledge of steel is desirable but not essential. You will be used to dealing with clients over the phone and have an understanding of sales processes (from quoting to closing for business). You will have knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM databases. If this sound of interest, please apply ASAP.
