Wood / CNC Machinists Wanted.

Based between Southampton and Fareham.

Full-time Temporary to Permanent Opportunity.

45-Hours Per Week, Monday to Friday, 7am to 5pm.

£14-Per Hour (Depending on Experience Hourly Pay Rate Could Be Higher).

You will need your own transport to get to site, no public transport links available.

Duties:

* Operate and maintain machining equipment, including lathes, mills, and grinders.

* Assemble components according to specifications and engineering drawings.

* Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required standards.

* Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for various machining tasks.

* Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes.

* Maintain a clean and organised work area, always adhering to safety protocols.

Skills:

* Proficient in basic maths for measurements and calculations related to machining tasks.

* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex machinery operations.

* Experience with wood machining is essential.

* Ability to grind, assemble, and build components accurately.

* Competent in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.

You must be eligible to work in the UK as a permanent employee.
