School Business Manager - Croydon

SENCare Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced School Business Manager for a "Good Ofsted rated" special needs school in Croydon.

Duration: Monday - Friday: 8.30am - 4.00pm

Role Overview:

As the School Business Manager, you will be responsible for the non-teaching-related running of the school, as part of a dynamic school management team.

Main purpose of the School Business Manager role:

* To be responsible for HR processes, recruitment, and staff absence management across the School.

* Be a part of the Senior Leadership Team, to assist the Head Teacher and Governors to ensure that the school meets its educational aims from a business and resourcing perspective

* Take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children within the school

* To be responsible for the effective management of the school financial resources at a strategic and tactical level

* To be accountable for the management of property, facilities, and the administration policy of the School.

The Ideal School Business Manager will have:

* At least 2 years experience in a similar role

* Diploma or certificate in school business managers qualification

* Experience of contributing at a strategic level within senior management/leadership team of an organisation.

* A clear DBS registered to update service

* Knowledge and experience of managing risk assessments and health and safety legislation.

* Experience of managing budgets and resources.
