Job Description:

Position Overview: The Site Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all on-site activities for commercial construction/fit out projects. This role ensures that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Site Manager will work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Oversight: Manage day-to-day operations on the construction site. Ensure all construction activities comply with design specifications, building codes, and safety regulations. Monitor project progress and report on performance to senior management.

2. Team Management: Supervise and direct site personnel and subcontractors. Coordinate site logistics, including deliveries and equipment. Foster a positive work environment, ensuring effective communication among team members.

3. Quality Control: Implement and enforce quality control procedures. Conduct regular inspections to ensure work meets the company's standards. Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies promptly.

4. Safety Management: Enforce site safety policies and procedures. Conduct safety meetings and ensure all site workers are aware of safety protocols. Investigate and report any accidents or incidents on site.

5. Budget and Cost Control: Assist in the preparation of project budgets and schedules. Monitor and manage project expenses, ensuring costs are kept within budget. Approve and process invoices and payments for subcontractors and suppliers.

6. Documentation and Reporting -Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation. Prepare and submit regular progress reports to stakeholders. Ensure all necessary permits and licenses are obtained and kept current.

7. Client and Stakeholder Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on site-related matters. Communicate project status and address any client concerns or requests. Coordinate site visits and meetings with clients and other stakeholders.

Qualifications:

* Ability to work away from home.

* Minimum of 10 years of experience in site management within the commercial construction industry.

* Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale commercial projects.

* Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.

* Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

* Proficiency in construction management software and tools.

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

* Certification in Project Management or Construction Management is a plus.

* Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various project sites
