This position seeks a Credit Controller who possesses a solid understanding of accounting principles, fair credit practices and regulatory standards.The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring company revenues by managing and collecting debts, keeping a record of sales, establishing and maintaining client relationships and also ensuring all financial transactions, policies and procedures comply with regulations.

Description
The key duties for the Credit Controller are:
- Manage the timely debt collection and payments of company's debts and customers' payments
- Maintain accurate records of sales, income, invoices, and payments
- Establish and implement financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company procedures
- Manage customer credit files and perform credit checks
- Foster client relationships and negotiate payback arrangements
- Coordinate with the accounting & finance department to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Assist in the budget preparation process
- Ad hoc duties
Profile
A successful Credit Controller should have:
- Experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
