Interim Group Accountant - 6-month FTC

London Hybrid

£75000 - £80000 annually

Our client, a leading FTSE business, is looking for a technically astute Group Accountant to join their dynamic team. The role requires an individual to prepare statutory accounts,

About the role:

Prepare and review consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS and UK GAAP

Ensure accurate and timely submission of group financial reports to senior stakeholders

Maintain robust financial controls and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements across the group.

Prepare documentation and provide support for regulatory audits and inspections.

Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to senior management.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

Support the budgeting and forecasting processes.

Provide support on IFRS16 accounting and the Group's lease management system, helping train new users as appropriate

Provide adhoc technical accounting advice and support the wider business

Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management.

Qualifications and Experience:

Qualified ACA/ACCA

Technically strong with in-depth IFRS knowledge

Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

Strong working knowledge of ERP - OneStream highly advantageous.

The client operates a hybrid working model with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home. Candidates should be available at short notice
