My large client in the utilities sector is currently looking for an experienced Commercial Managerto join their team on a 6 month contract basis to lead the overseeing and managing multiple commercial projects/contracts from initiation to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

This role involves handling regulated and non-regulated tenders, RFPs (Requests for Proposal), RFQs (Requests for Quotation), contract analysis, and developing insource/outsource strategies and exit plans.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Manage and coordinate commercial and procurement activity across the programme (e.g. RFPs, Market Engagement etc.).
• Oversee the preparation and submission of tenders, RFPs, and RFQs and Conduct thorough contract analysis to ensure all terms and conditions are favourable and compliant.
• Develop strategies for insourcing and outsourcing, evaluating the benefits and risks of each approach
• Plan and execute exit strategies for contracts, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal disruption.
• Act as a liaison between the programme and Procurement to ensure any procurement processes/practices are followed by the programme.

Skills that would make you successful in this role:
