Our client is a leading training provider dedicated to empowering learners, and they are looking for a passionate Residential Childcare Trainer to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional in the field who is eager to inspire and develop the next generation of childcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

* Deliver Engaging Training: Lead interactive, practical, and informative sessions for learners studying Residential Childcare courses (Level 5). Use a variety of teaching methods to create an engaging and supportive learning environment.

* Develop Course Materials: Work closely with the academic team to create, review, and update training materials that reflect current industry standards and regulatory requirements.

* Assess Learners: Monitor and assess student progress, including coursework, practical assessments, and exams. Provide constructive feedback to help learners develop and improve their skills.

* Support Learners: Provide one-on-one support to students, offering advice, guidance, and mentorship as they navigate their studies and career development. Encourage a positive, inclusive learning environment.

The ideal candidate will have:

* Experience in a Residential Childcare: You should have substantial experience working in residential childcare settings, preferably previous experience in managing a children's home.

* Teaching or Training Experience: Teaching or Assessing qualification is essential (e.g., PTLLS, AET, CAVA, TAQA or equivalent) and a Level 5 qualification in residential childcare.
