This role is a rare static role based at a large manufacturing site over in Stowmarket with easy parking on site! The site has been in the area for well over 50 years and you will be responsible for only looking after the facilities.

This maintenance operative role will involve general PPM checks including EM checks, legionella checks, and fan coil cleans. You will also be responsible for any reactive jobs that come up which can include replacing door handles, rails on the stairs, lock changes, painting, and general plumbing issues.

You will be joining a team of 3 engineers which will be able to cover any electrical and mechanical issues that come up.

You will be joining a multibillion pound company that really looks after its engineers and encourages growth and progression. Any training required is actively encouraged.

You will be glad to hear the role doesn't have a call out and the core hours are

08:00 - 17:00

Monday to Friday however these can be flexible as long as you are getting your hours.

Ideally you will have previous maintenance operative expierence and come from a FM background, ideally have a carpentry background and have a good understanding of compliance and paperwork.

This maintenance operative role pays a decent salary of up to £29,000 and has the opportunity of boosting this up with the bit of overtime here and there.
