Embedded Software Engineer required for my client who work within telecommunications and security solutions, based near to Northampton.

The embedded software engineer will play a crucial role in advancing our product development projects for their client base.

Embedded Software Engineer Position Overview
* Working on multiple development projects simultaneously.
* Working on; electronic hardware design, microprocessors, IC interfacing protocols and firmware.
* Writing, testing and debugging embedded software for various applications.
* Being hands on with the design, build and test of products.
* Working with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and requirements.

Embedded Software Engineer Position Requirements
* Strong experience with microcontroller programming (PIC, ARM, Atmel AVR…).
* Ability to use debugging tools and possess strong problem-solving skill.
* Experience with communications protocols and suitable hardware would be desirable.
* Experience with designing, developing and verifying electronic schematics.
* Ability to write code using best practice methods for the selected applications.
* Experience with IoT & LoRa desirable.
* Open to a fully on-site role.
* Based within a commutable distance of Northampton.
* Full UK driving licence.

Embedded Software Engineer Position Remuneration
* Salary - £45,000 to £55,000 - depending upon experience, skill and qualifications.
* Full time position - Monday to Friday.
* Holiday package - 33 days (including bank holiday allowance) per year. This increases to 38-day total package after 5 years' service.
