About the Client
Our client is a well-established fresh produce business, specializing in delivering high-quality vegetables such as carrots, parsnips, beetroot, turnips, artichokes, and potatoes. Known for their environmental and social values, they are expanding rapidly and looking to add talented engineers to their growing team.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out planned preventative maintenance and service schedules on plant machinery during the night shift.
Contribute to continuous improvement projects and collaborate closely with the Head of Engineering.
Maintain a detailed engineering log, documenting all repairs, faults, remedies, and equipment performance.
Ensure smooth shift handovers by providing comprehensive reports and updates to the day team.
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in a production or warehousing environment, ideally in a night shift role.
Expertise in PLC and electrical control fault-finding.
Proven hands-on engineering skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills - able to coordinate effectively with other engineers and departments.
