Day-to-day of the role: - Support the delivery of educational programs tailored to individual needs, including those specific to ASD.
- Work closely with teachers to implement strategies that promote student engagement and effective learning.
- Assist in the preparation of teaching materials that spark interest and excitement.
- Provide one-on-one support to students, ensuring they feel valued and supported in their learning journey.
- Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents to help students achieve their best.
- Participate in training and development sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - Proven experience as an HLTA or Teaching Assistant, specifically within an SEN/ASD setting.
- Strong understanding of the challenges and rewards of working with students with special educational needs and ASD.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, staff, and parents.
- Creative thinking and the ability to make learning enjoyable.
