The Opportunity:
Are you an experienced HLTA looking for a new opportunity in a vibrant school environment? Long Term Futures is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic HLTA to join a welcoming junior school in Barking and Dagenham. This role involves working across multiple year groups to provide high-quality support and lead lessons as required, contributing to the overall success and development of the school community.

The ideal candidate will have:

HLTA status or an equivalent qualification.
Proven experience in a HLTA role, ideally in primary or secondary schools.
A strong understanding of the curriculum and strategies to support effective learning.
Confidence in leading whole-class teaching and small group interventions.
Excellent communication and organizational skills to work collaboratively with staff and pupils.
A proactive and adaptable approach to working in a dynamic school setting.Key responsibilities:

Leading lessons across various year groups in the absence of the class teacher.
Supporting the planning and delivery of engaging and inclusive lessons.
Providing targeted support to small groups and individual students to enhance learning outcomes.
Assisting with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment.
Monitoring pupil progress and providing feedback to teachers and senior staff.
