gap personnel Exeter are recruiting for multiple General Operative on a temp to perm basis for our client based at Devonport Dockyard, Plymouth, Devon.  

You will be joining a leading company that provides Engineering Services to the Defence, Security, Nuclear and Emergency Services.

As a General Operative you will be required to undertake a wide variety of tasks across the site, tasks include strapping down boats to dock.

About you:

• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a team.
• Willingness to work at height or in confined spaces.
• Counterbalance FLT Licence (Desirable)
• Full Clean UK Driving Licence.
• Boating or Dockyard experience is beneficial.

Pay & Hours:

• £16.44ph, paid weekly
• Monday to Thursday (0730am – 1530pm) & Friday 0730am – 1230pm, 35hours per week.

Abide by health and safety legislation in respect of yourself and others.
