Salary: £28,544.39 per annum plus benefits
Hours: 40 Hours per week, rotational weeks:
(Week 1) - Monday - Friday 06:00 - 13:45
(Week 2) - Monday - Friday 13:45 - 21:45
Location: Southwark, London

We are working with a leader in waste, water and energy management. They are looking to recruit Senior Technicians to work at their flagship plant in Southwark, London.

Conduct scheduled physical inspections by company Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental (QHSE) procedures
Carry out operational Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) checks and report findings with the shift supervisor and maintenance supervisor
Communicate clear instructions and information to MBT operatives to support operations and high emphasis will be placed on the plant availability and the performance of the biological process
Record all defects and findings accordingly and assist with KPI data entry
The Senior Technician is required to have an excellent understanding of the SCADA system and will be expected to independently fault-find and rectify issues via this and the plant's equipment
Provide line management with specialist knowledge and hands-on expertise in rectifying and preventing problems such as equipment failure, material blockages and biological process inefficiencies
Prepare both facilities for daily operation and carry out necessary pre-start equipment checks in conjunction with the shift supervisorWhat they're looking for;

Willingness to learn waste separation equipment is essential
Higher education or equivalent is desirable
A strong communicator, with leadership skills/experience
Technically minded with strong problem-solving skills
Experience of leading people is preferred
