Long Term Futures is excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an SEN Teaching Assistant in a welcoming school in Solihull. They are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual who is committed to making a difference in the lives of SEN students. This full-time role has the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

This long-term position involves providing tailored support to students with a variety of needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) You will play a crucial role in their development and learning journey.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with personalised learning plans to ensure students' individual needs are met.
Support students with personal care and daily routines while maintaining dignity and safety.
Help foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging independence and social skills.
Monitor and track student progress, offering feedback and support.

Essential Experience

Previous experience working with SEN students, particularly those with ASD.
Patience, empathy, and a caring approach when working with children who have complex needs.
Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to engage with both students and parents.
