Social Worker – Child in Need / Child ProtectionLocation: Halton, UKPay Rate: Up to £45.34 per hourContract Type: Temporary / ContractHours: Full-timeAbout the Role:Myn is recruiting for our trusted partner in Halton, seeking an experienced Social Worker to join their Child in Need / Child Protection Team. In this vital role, you’ll be at the forefront of safeguarding children and supporting families in need. Your work will ensure the safety, development, and well-being of vulnerable children while working collaboratively within a multi-agency framework.Key Responsibilities:Manage a diverse caseload of Child in Need and Child Protection cases.Conduct timely assessments and create clear, evidence-based plans to support children and families.Undertake child protection investigations and participate in Child Protection Conferences.Work closely with children, families, and multi-agency partners to deliver effective and impactful interventions.Prepare and present comprehensive reports for court proceedings when required.Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files in line with statutory requirements.Ensure timely and appropriate actions to safeguard children and promote their welfare.What We’re Looking For:Qualifications:Degree/Diploma in Social Work or an equivalent recognised qualification.Registered with Social Work England (SWE).Experience:Demonstrable experience working within Child in Need or Child Protection teams.A solid background in child safeguarding and multi-agency collaboration.Skills and Knowledge:Deep understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children, families, and professional partners.Proven ability to manage a challenging caseload and make sound professional decisions under pressure.Strong case recording and report writing skills for professional and legal purposes.Why Join Myn’s Partner?Competitive hourly rate of up to £45.34.Opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of vulnerable children and families.Work in a supportive and collaborative team environment.Develop your expertise in a challenging yet rewarding role.Apply Now:If you are a skilled and passionate Social Worker ready to take on a meaningful role, we’d love to hear from you.
