I have been retaibned by my client who is a fast growing services business based in the Manchester area. Due to a period of growth they are recruiting for a Management Accountant. This is a newly created role looking for a self starter who has confidence in their own abilities. This role reports directly to the Finance Director and offers a real opportunity to someone who is newly/recently qualified.

Duties include;

• Produce financial statements including P&L accounts, cash flows, variance analysis and commentaries
• Analyse financial information to assist business profitability and growth
• Provide accurate and sound management reporting to assist with key decision making
• Contribute to annual budgeting and planning process
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations
• Review accounting processes and practices and improve where necessary to ensure efficient financial operations
• Responsibility for cash flow management
• Assisting the monthly/year-end Group reporting
• Analysis of sales reports
• Adhoc reporting when needed
• Intercompany accounts to include international accounts

The right candidate will;

• ACCA/CIMA Qualified
• Well experienced in all aspects of finance
• Be a self starter
• Have experience of end to end management accounts preparation
• Have experience of all statutory processes
• Be looking for a role that will be rewarding working in a motivated team
• Have strong IT skills
• Be happy looking and changing current processes
