Part-Time Management Accountant
Hours: Part-Time (flexible, approximately 2-3 days)

Our client is a dedicated charity, committed to creating positive change. Seeking a Part-Time Management Accountant to help us maintain robust financial systems and make a meaningful impact.

About the Role:
The Management Accountant will play a key role in supporting the charity's financial operations and strategic decision-making. You will ensure financial resources are managed effectively, providing accurate and timely reports.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare and present monthly management accounts and financial reports to senior leadership.

* Monitor budgets, forecasts, and cash flow to support financial planning.

* Analyse variances and provide insights to improve financial performance.

* Support grant reporting and funding applications with relevant financial data.

* Ensure compliance with charity regulations and assist with year-end accounts and audits.

* Collaborate with team members to develop and maintain financial controls and policies.

* Provide ad hoc financial analysis and advice as needed.

About You:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual with a passion for supporting charities.

* A recognized accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or significant equivalent experience.

* Previous experience in management accounting, preferably in a charity or nonprofit setting.

* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.

* Excellent communication skills to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

* Proficiency in accounting software and tools.

* Knowledge of charity-specific financial regulations and reporting requirements
