Finance Manager - Nottingham - Hybrid Working £Up to £55,000 + Excellent Benefits
Are you an ACA-qualified accountant looking for an exciting first move from practice into industry? This Finance Manager position offers a challenging, fast-paced environment where you’ll work with industry leaders and gain board-level visibility.
The Opportunity Joining a dynamic finance team within a well-established business, you’ll be managing high-profile projects across social infrastructure, wind, and renewables, providing invaluable exposure to complex financial structures.
Key Responsibilities - Financial Reporting: Preparation of monthly & quarterly reports, variance analysis, and board presentations.
- Project Finance & Debt Management: Overseeing financial structures, contract negotiations, and compliance.
- Leadership & Mentoring: Managing junior team members, supporting their development, and ensuring financial accuracy.
- Stakeholder Management: Working closely with external auditors, tax advisors, legal teams, and senior leadership.
- Process & Performance Improvement: Identifying efficiencies and enhancing reporting structures.
What We're Looking For - ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified with at least two years post-qualification experience.
- Strong management skills - ability to mentor and develop junior staff.
- Experience in finance management within asset management, facilities, construction, engineering, or a similar industry is highly desirable.
- Confident interacting with senior stakeholders and comfortable presenting to demanding clients and boards.
- Proactive, hands-on, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.
