Merchandiser | Premium Fashion Brand | International | Hybrid Working | London | £40,000 - £45,000** Retail & Ecommerce Experienced Required **Are a skilled Merchandiser looking to take on a new challenge?We have two exciting opportunities at Merchandiser level with our internationally recognised client. The focus for these vacancies are to commercially plan and trade across their different fascias; retail (branch), concession and e-commerce.Merchandiser Responsibilities:- Develop and deliver a comprehensive planning and allocation forward plan, ensuring efficient and accurate stock flow to reflect range and promotional changes.- Collaborate with the partnership between buying, merchandising, and marketing teams to create sales volume forecasts for new ranges, seasons, and promotions.- Own and maintain accurate sales volume forecasts at the channel level, regularly analysing performance and making recommendations for improvement.- Monitor stock levels and proactively address any discrepancies or issues that may impact sales targets.- Collaborate with the buying and merchandising teams to optimise stock support and ensure the availability of products to meet customer demand.- Analyse sales and inventory data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks, making data-driven recommendations to drive sales and maximise profitability.- Work closely with the marketing team to align merchandising activities with promotional campaigns and initiatives.- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform future planning and decision-making.- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, providing regular updates and insights on sales performance and stock availability.Skills/Experience:- Previous experience in a similar branch merchandising role or merchandising role, within the retail industry.- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.- Excellent planning and organisational abilities, with a keen eye for detail.- Proficiency in using merchandising and inventory management systems.- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present information clearly and confidently.- Strong collaborative skills, able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.- Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving targets and driving sales growth.- Knowledge of market trends and customer preferences within the retail industry.
