Company: CATHCART TECHNOLOGY

Job Type: Permanent, FullTime

Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 per annum

Product Owner required for a software start-up based out of London.

The company

They have recently separated from their parent business, and are starting out as a new entity. The business is developing a SaaS Platform, that essentially allows their customers to procure goods in a fast and easy manner using Artificial Intelligence. They are already in a great spot, as already have the customer base for their services from household names such as Vodafone and Amazon, and with financial security from their parent company.

The business is already nearly 100 strong, and they have plans to add another 10-15 individuals to the Dev team this year - this position is a brand new one also. The role will ideally be based from London, with the company operating a hybrid work model. The expectations are to be in office at least twice a week.

The role

This is a newly created position and will report into the Senior Product Manager. With the growth of the business, the Senior PM needs to focus on the strategy, with this role focusing on the "doing". You will work closely alongside the Development team as well as the wider business, in order to help develop the roadmap. The position is working on the new SaaS platform, so having a background in this would be hugely beneficial.

In terms of responsibilities, it is a fairly standard PO role. You will be writing Epics and User Stories, as well as helping to create the product roadmap and maintaining the backlog. Working initially in a small team, this will gradually grow as they hire.

Key Skills and Responsibilities:

** A few years working as a Product Owner in an Agile software environment (ideally SaaS)

** Ideally bring a software platform from Ideation to implementation

** Work closely with agile development teams to deliver great products and services for our customers

** Prioritise features and break them down into user stories

** Maintain product feature backlog and development for the product

** Write requirements - typically as user stories and epics

** Provide knowledge and understanding of product and feature goals to technology teams while they develop and test to your designs

** Create high-level documentation

** Participate in daily scrum meetings, planning, reviews and retrospectives

** Defining features and distilling them into requirements, such as epics and user stories, and defining acceptance criteria

This is an opportunity to join a growing SaaS business who are only just taking off. It is a huge growth area with tons of potential.
