Our client, a busy local authority in South West London, are looking for an experienced Building Control Surveyor to join their in-house construction design team.Position: Building Control SurveyorLocation:  South West LondonSalary: £33.51p/h umbrellaHours: Monday - Friday / 9am - 5pmContract: Until July 2025 (possible extension)Purpose:

• Responsible for delivering projects throughout all RIBA Stages.
• Working closely with clients to identify their needs and put together design proposals for a wide range of facilities including leisure centres, residential buildings, cemeteries, day centres, libraries, care homes, family hubs, historical monuments.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• At least 5 years experience within a Building Control Surveyor or equivalent.
• Good knowledge of CAD software, technical building regulations and British Standards.
• Experience in administration of JCT contracts.
• Experience in producing building specifications with NBS.
• RICS qualification preferred but not essential.
