Class 2 Steel delivery driver in Heckmondwike needed.

We have an opportunity for an experienced Class 2 Driver to join our client based in Heckmondwike.

About the role

As a Recruit A Driver HGV Driver for our client, you will:

• To oversee the safe unloading of vehicles at customer premises
• Driving Class 2 flatbed vehicles, securing loads with ratchets and straps.
• Be delivering steel locally and long distance
• Ensuring Proofs of Delivery are signed & returned without delay.
• To check the load security & weight distribution according to latest safe working practices at the beginning and end of each shift.

What you need to know:

• Working times: 06.00 start (although start/finish times can vary)
• Shift pattern: Monday - Friday.

What you must have:

• Must hold a valid Class 2 UK license for a minimum of 12 months.
• Must have experience driving a Class 2 vehiclewithin the last six months, ideally 12 months.
• Must have no more than 6 points on license for minoroffences.
• Must hold an in date Digital Tachograph Card.
• Must have an up-to-date CPC Qualification Card.
• Must have the ability to carry our manual handling and loading
