SF Recruitment are working with a highly respected and well-established privately-owned group within the distribution sector to recruit a Management Accountant. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a broad and commercially impactful role within a group that has grown steadily through a portfolio of successful subsidiary businesses.

Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller, you'll play a key role in financial reporting, FP&A, process improvement, and business partnering with senior stakeholders across the group. This role would suit somebody looking for their first move from practice to industry or someone with experience in a similar role, you must be a qualified accountant. 

Key Responsibilities:

Produce timely and accurate management accounts in line with group reporting deadlines

Collaborate with the SLT to review financial performance, analyse margins and costs, and support commercial decision-making

Consolidate and report on results, forecasts, actuals, and budgets, providing insightful commentary on key metrics

Contribute to ERP transformation and help standardise financial processes across the group, including documentation and internal controls

About You:

ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified 

Strong analytical and Excel skills, with a keen eye for detail

Ability to build relationships and collaborate with stakeholders across multiple sites

Experience with ERP systems, ideally Dynamics
