The successful candidate would be working within an established multi-disciplinary team to develop designs for transmission and reflective optical systems.

Responsibilities:

* Optical design and simulation

* Lens design and lens data documentation

* Assembly process development

* Develop prototypes, and new product introduction

* Monte Carlo analysis

* Practical test and measurement

* Input to factory and type approval testing set-ups and design

Requirements:

* Degree 2:1 or above

* Optical, Engineering or related Science degree,

* Knowledge of optical component and optical system design,

* Knowledge of Zemax optical design software

* Results orientated
