The Role

This newly created role where the role will be balanced between supporting with the financial accounting for various business units across the world and several high value & profile continuous improvement projects.

The key components will include:

• Business partnering with key stakeholders worldwide
• Supporting with financial accounting and reporting requirements for several business units
• Involvement in process improvement projects
• Ensuring robust month and year-end closes
• Feeding into annual audit process including liaising with External Auditors
• Reviewing and developing processes, procedures, controls & systems

The role is based in Edinburgh with fantastic hybrid & flexible working, but regular weekly office presence is required. The position will also offer:

Candidate Profile

The employers preference is to hire a qualified Accountant, however those towards the end of their professional accountancy qualification will still be considered.

You must have strong financial accounting & reporting principles, with international and process improvement exposure being advantageous but not essential.
