Job Title: General Cover Teacher (Adhoc Basis)

We are seeking a dedicated General Cover Teacher to work on an adhoc basis in secondary schools across Derbyshire. As a cover teacher, you'll have the opportunity to step into a variety of classrooms, cover for absent teachers, and make a positive impact on students' learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging lessons across a range of subjects, ensuring continuity of learning in the absence of the regular teacher.
Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a positive and respectful learning environment.
Support students of all abilities, providing tailored guidance where necessary.
Ensure work is marked and feedback is given in accordance with school policies.
Adapt quickly to different school environments and teaching styles.

Key Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (preferred but not essential).
Strong classroom management skills.
Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school settings.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience teaching secondary-aged students is an advantage, but not essential.
