The Opportunity

Prospero Teaching are partnered with Local Councils, SEND teams and schools throughout the UK. We provide educational support to individuals who are currently out of mainstream education, those seeking additional support, and individuals with SEND.

Are you a passionate and experienced educator with a strong background in Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are looking for dedicated QTS Tutors to join our team in Havering, offering 1:1 support to students who require extra assistance in their learning.

Duration: ongoing
Salary: £25 - £30 per hourKey Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 tutoring to students with SEN, tailoring lessons to their individual learning needs.
Plan and deliver engaging, structured lessons that help students progress academically and personally.
Work flexibly, adapting your schedule to the availability of students and their families.
Track and assess students' progress, ensuring that each lesson builds on their achievements.
Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and educational professionals to ensure the best outcomes for the student.Experience, Training and Qualifications:

Have experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils
UK classroom teaching experience
Be creative, patient and willing to think outside of the boxTo be eligible for this role, the potential 1:1 Outreach Tutor must:

Hold the right to work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
