Job Title: Primary Teacher
Location: Gateshead
Pay: £100 - £150 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Daily Supply, Long Term

We are recruiting for a fantastic Primary School in Gateshead and are looking for a creative Primary Teacher to join their friendly and supportive team. We welcome both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) with a passion for teaching Key Stage 2. The school prides itself on being a welcoming place to work, where staff are supportive and there are plenty of opportunities to develop your teaching skills.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support pupils' learning through the national curriculum
• Teach and manage a lively class
• Work with a teaching assistant to provide extra support when needed
• Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons
• Use assessments to monitor and track progress
• Plan and assess phonics following the school's programme
• Promote independence and confidence in pupils
• Provide excellent safeguarding and pastoral care

✅ The Ideal Candidate Will:
• Hold a UK-recognised Primary Teaching qualification
• Be proactive, energetic, kind, and caring
• Have an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply)
• Possess a fully checkable work history
