A friendly school in Oxford are looking for an Classroom Support Assistant to join their team starting as soon as possible.

The school:

• Promote inclusivity throughout the school
• Encourage a fun and engaging learning environment for students
• Incorporate therapy into the curriculum to best promote and encourage skills

The role as a Classroom Support Assistant:

• To support students with their learning in the classroom
• Assist with bridging any gaps in their development and education
• Encourage students to achieve their goals - both academic and personal
• Facilitate a positive environment to help make students learning concrete
• Assist the class teacher with general support in the classroom - this can be helping prepare lessons, tidy up afterwards, provide general supervision over the classroom

The successful Classroom Support Assistant:

• Will have some experience working with children in a classroom setting
• Will be patient, proactive and passionate about making a difference
• Will be calm and positive - be able to easily build relationships with the children
• Understand the importance of Safeguarding
• Have a DBS or be willing to obtain one
