At Riverside we recruit to potential not just on skills and experience, so we encourage you to apply even if you don't meet all the essential criteria on the job description.The difference you will make as CaretakerIn this role you will provide effective and customer focused caretaking services within the Derby / Amber Valley area.You will be based at Riverside Acorn Place but each day you will travel to dispersed properties to carry out the required services.You will monitor tenants who may be experiencing difficulties, so you should keep the Housing Officer informed of tenant problems so that the necessary support and advice can be given. Ideally you will provide basic maintenance type services - such as low-level aids and adaptations.About youWe are looking for someone with:
  • Full UK Driver’s License and access to their own vehicle.
  • Basic IT Skills.
  • Experience of providing a maintenance service.
Although not essential, ideally you would also have:
  • Experience of gardening.
  • Experience of working in Social Housing with tenants.
  • Understanding of Health and Safety in communal areas within social housing.
