Electrical Maintenance Engineer - TXM Recruit are currently recruiting for a Electrical Maintenance Engineer to work for one of the UKs largest and leading FM companies supporting them on a contract in Thameside.

As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer you will deliver an effective and quality maintenance service across a Distribution Centre Campus.

The work will be PPM and Building Services focused.  The tasks could include lighting and power upgrades, circuit board repairs, emergency light testing, and other planned maintenance. You will also be asked to support with general fabric work without the facility including minor repairs. 

There will also be some mechanically minded work included AHUs and other repairs on systems like this.
The salary is £37,834
Additional earnings available through overtime
You'll be working 40 hours per week, generally Monday to Friday (shifts 6am -2.30pm and 9.30am to 6pm) although some weekend work will be required on an ad-hoc basis to meet the needs of the business
There is a requirement to work 1 in 3 weeks on call (maximum)
Requirement

Facilities maintenance experience
Full UK driving licence
A recognised apprenticeship or qualification (such as City and Guilds, BTEC, NVQ), or significant proven demonstrable experience in mechanical and electrical services.
Technical knowledge and experience of maintenance and repair of a complex working environment including electrical and mechanical equipment whilst complying with all Safety and Environmental standards
