Leader Recruitment Group Ltd is seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to lead a children's home in South London. This role is an excellent opportunity for a motivated leader to make a lasting impact on the lives of children and young people by managing the home to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hold responsibility for the home and ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations, including audits, Reg 44 visits, and care planning.
  • Lead and inspire a team to deliver exceptional care and service.
  • Maintain a safe, supportive, and high-quality living environment for children.
  • Oversee staff recruitment, training, and performance, ensuring alignment with care standards.
  • Build effective relationships with multi-agency professionals and referrers.
  • Ensure adherence to relevant legislation and promote a person-centred approach in all aspects of care.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Minimum Level 5 NVQ in Health and Social Care and Level 5 Leadership and Management (Children and Young People).
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 4 years as a Registered Manager in children's services.
    • Proven track record of managing Ofsted-registered homes with 'Good' or 'Outstanding' ratings.
    • Strong understanding of care standards, child protection, and experience with EBD.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
    • Competency in care planning, risk assessments, and health and safety compliance.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with professionals and deliver a child-focused service.
