Role: Registered Manager - Children's Home
Location: Sutton
Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 9am-6pm
Salary: £60,000 - £65,000
Bonus: Monthly bonuses
Leader Recruitment Group Ltd is seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to lead a children's home in South London. This role is an excellent opportunity for a motivated leader to make a lasting impact on the lives of children and young people by managing the home to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hold responsibility for the home and ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations.
- Manage the day-to-day operations, including audits, Reg 44 visits, and care planning.
- Lead and inspire a team to deliver exceptional care and service.
- Maintain a safe, supportive, and high-quality living environment for children.
- Oversee staff recruitment, training, and performance, ensuring alignment with care standards.
- Build effective relationships with multi-agency professionals and referrers.
- Ensure adherence to relevant legislation and promote a person-centred approach in all aspects of care.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Minimum Level 5 NVQ in Health and Social Care and Level 5 Leadership and Management (Children and Young People).
- Experience:
- Minimum 4 years as a Registered Manager in children's services.
- Proven track record of managing Ofsted-registered homes with 'Good' or 'Outstanding' ratings.
- Strong understanding of care standards, child protection, and experience with EBD.
- Skills:
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Competency in care planning, risk assessments, and health and safety compliance.
- Ability to work collaboratively with professionals and deliver a child-focused service.
