Milk education are working with schools across Southwark who require supply teachers to cover teachers absence.
As a Supply Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of schools, gaining crucial experience and making a positive impact on students' education. This role is ideal for individuals who are looking to kickstart their teaching career or gain more experience in different educational settings.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering pre-planned lessons across different subjects and age groups.
- Engaging students in the learning process and ensuring a positive and productive classroom environment.
- Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Supporting students with their learning, aiding and guidance as needed.
- Adhering to school policies and procedures and following lesson plans provided.
- Collaborating with other staff members and following the direction of the school leadership team.
- Providing feedback to regular class teachers regarding students' progress and any challenges faced during lessons.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- A passion for education and a desire to make a positive difference.
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree.
- Adaptability and flexibility to work in various school environments.
- Confidence in managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning space.
