Senior Divorce and Family Lawyer Step into a pivotal role as a Senior Divorce and Family Lawyer, where you’ll handle high-profile, complex family law cases that require expertise, finesse, and a strategic mindset. From navigating high net worth financial settlements to resolving sensitive children matters and negotiating prenuptial agreements, you’ll be at the forefront of providing top-tier legal counsel. Beyond casework, you’ll be instrumental in driving business growth, working closely with the MD to shape the future of the practice. Key Responsibilities: 
  • Lead with Expertise:
    • Take charge of intricate family law cases, offering bespoke legal advice and representation that ensures the best outcomes for our clients.
    • Craft and fine-tune essential legal documents, from pleadings to prenuptial agreements, with precision and care.
    • Stand as a confident advocate in court, representing clients in high-stakes hearings, negotiations, and mediations.
  • Innovate & Grow:
    • Be a driving force behind our business development efforts, engaging in networking, marketing, and building lasting client relationships.
    • Collaborate with the Owner to develop and implement cutting-edge strategies for expanding our reach and enhancing our market presence.
    • Continuously seek out opportunities to optimize our operations, increase revenue, and elevate the client experience.
  • Mentor & Inspire:
    • Lead by example, guiding and developing junior colleagues to cultivate a high-performing, motivated team.
    • Share your knowledge and expertise to foster a collaborative, learning-driven environment.
  • Manage with Precision:
    • Keep your cases organized and compliant, maintaining meticulous records and ensuring adherence to both internal policies and industry regulations.
    • Stay on top of billings, costs, and work in progress (WIP), driving financial efficiency and accuracy.
  What You Bring:
  • A solid background in family law, with a particular strength in handling privately funded, complex cases such as divorce, financial settlements, and cohabitation disputes.
  • Proven success in court advocacy, with the ability to command the courtroom and deliver results for clients.
  • A track record of mentoring and guiding junior lawyers, helping them grow while maintaining high standards of work.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with the ability to connect with clients and colleagues alike.
  • A meticulous approach to case management, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
  • A commitment to honesty, reliability, and ethical practice in all aspects of your work.
  • A self-starter attitude with a relentless "can-do" approach to overcoming challenges and seizing opportunities.
