Macildowie Finance are partnering with an exciting, growth focused multinational organisation to recruit a Financial Controller on a full time permanent basis, to be based at their office in Leicester. This highly autonomous and exposed finance role will sit as part of the Senior Management Team and will have overall autonomy and ownership for all areas of finance. This Financial Controller position will play a pivotal role in the growth and development of this organisation in the UK and abroad, providing high quality information and partnering services to all areas of this fantastic business. If you are a detail oriented accountant of a hands on nature, seeking an exciting and varied role, this could be the ideal next step for you. You will be tasked with;Management, coaching and development of the finance function.Implementation of new processes to improve finance processes. Provide effective management information to the Directors in order to improve business performance. Review of the monthly management accounts as produced by the team. Budgeting and forecasting with analysis into variances. Treasury management including cash flow reporting/management, hedging etc.Preparation of VAT returns.Preparation and presentation of KPI reporting.Statutory accounts production and liaising with external Auditors. To be considered for this role you will be;A Qualified Accountant - ACCA/CIMA/ACA with previous experience in a Financial Controller's role working alongside and playing a key part in the Senior Management Team.A competent Excel User (Pivots, Look Ups, Ifs are a must).A confident communicator with experience of partnering with senior level operational stakeholders.Experience of operating in a hands on and fully rounded accounting role is absolutely essential.
