Driver Resource are looking to recruit Class 1 Day / Night Drivers to cover our Clients over the upcoming holiday seasons with the majority of Clients being General Haulage operators. Full details of job duties will be given at time of booking.
Vehicles will be either Curtainsiders or Box trailers. You may be required to strap / unstrap load.
Handball or use of a Pump Truck may be required at certain Clients.
Delivery to RDC's throughout the UK.
Complete POD's & Return them to the transport office.
Ensuring goods are safely secured.
Completing LGV vehicle defect and maintaining logs.
Pay rates will vary dependant on Client generally between £15.00 - £17.00 PAYE exclusive of holiday.
What we are looking for:
A valid full category CE Licence (Class 1) 6 year minimum experience required.
No more than 6 points on driving licence.
NO DD, DR, IN or MS90 conviction codes due to insurance restrictions
Minimum age 25 years due to insurance criteria
Drivers will be required to have a good attitude and able to work by themselves or with a team.
Demonstrates excellent communication skills.
Have good customer service skills and an eye for detail.
Able to manage your time and deliveries well (avoiding infringements at all costs).
