ROLE: Senior Family SolicitorLOCATION: ChesterSALARY: DOE

The successful candidate will:

Manage their own caseload of family law cases from inception to resolution, including advocacyHandle a wide range of family law cases, including divorce, finance, child related matters, and domestic abuse matters.Supervise and develop junior colleagues within the departmentWork closely with clients and third-party contacts to build and maintain lasting relationshipsProvide a first-class service to clients, presenting a positive image of Cullimore Dutton at all timesMaintain a professional attitude and effective communications between clients, team members and colleaguesAssist in the business development and networking activities of the department and wider businessRecognise, respect and honour client confidentiality at all timesEngage in business development to promote themselves, team and business, with the ability to win workConsistently meet financial targets

You will need a flexible approach and the ability to work as part of a team, together with the following skills:

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook/teams)Use of Ochresoft Case Management System desirable but not essential as full training will be givenExcellent communication skills both on the telephone and in personGood time management skills, an awareness of deadlines and the ability to prioritise where necessaryAbility to delegate work to junior members of staff in a clear mannerA good understanding of business developmentSound knowledge of department finances, i.e. targets/billing/WIP etc.Minimum of three years' experience of working as a Family Solicitor is essential
