My client are a longstanding manufacturing business based in Salford turning over circa £30 million per year. Having been operating for over 60 years, they are well established in their sector and have a wealth of industry experience across their employees.

Description

• Delivering monthly management accounts including analysis and insights
• Ownership of the balance sheet and key reconciliations
• Responsible for weekly accounts
• Prepare annual budgets and forecasts
• Continuously improving processes and enhancing reporting systems
• Commercial analysis - improving performance, data analysis utilising BI tools
• Interpret financial reports to provide insights and recommendations to management
• Assist in the development and implementation of financial strategies and policies
• Perform financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
• Support SLT where necessary
• Support and develop financial and operational accountants

Profile

• Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ ACA/ ACCA) / Qualified by Experience
• Experience in Food Manufacturing or FMCG desirable but not essential
• Advanced Excel & MRP systems experience
