Our client is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Key Account Manager to manage and nurture relationships with key clients and support market growth efforts.

Responsibilities:
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Understand client needs, objectives, and challenges.
  • Ensure accurate documentation, pricing, and stock information is provided to clients.
  • Facilitate timely provision of shipping and clearing documentation.
  • Assist with managing client credit limits and debtor accounts.
  • Order Management:
  • Collaborate with the team leader to ensure efficient order processing.
  • Monitor labelling and special requirements for various orders.
  • Escalate significant issues to the Business Development Manager (BDM) as needed.
  • Reporting and Brand Development:
  • Assist the BDM in creating supplier reports and providing market feedback.
  • Support brand development efforts to identify sales opportunities and increase revenue.
  • Monitor brand performance and recommend adjustments to achieve objectives.
  • Contract and Negotiation:
  • Ensure shipping and payment terms are mutually beneficial.
  • Manage pricing, discounts, and service level agreements.
  • Administration:
  • Handle diverse, fast-paced tasks with extreme attention to detail.
  • Perform strategic administrative duties and filter tasks effectively.
  • Problem-Solving and Conflict Resolution:
  • Address and resolve client concerns promptly.
  • Develop preventive strategies to mitigate future issues.
  • Market and Industry Research:
  • Stay informed on industry trends and competitive landscapes.
  • Provide clients with relevant insights and solutions based on market knowledge.
  • Sales and Revenue Targets:
  • Support the BDM in achieving sales and budget targets for assigned markets.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
