Our client is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Key Account Manager to manage and nurture relationships with key clients and support market growth efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
- Understand client needs, objectives, and challenges.
- Ensure accurate documentation, pricing, and stock information is provided to clients.
- Facilitate timely provision of shipping and clearing documentation.
- Assist with managing client credit limits and debtor accounts.
- Order Management:
- Collaborate with the team leader to ensure efficient order processing.
- Monitor labelling and special requirements for various orders.
- Escalate significant issues to the Business Development Manager (BDM) as needed.
- Reporting and Brand Development:
- Assist the BDM in creating supplier reports and providing market feedback.
- Support brand development efforts to identify sales opportunities and increase revenue.
- Monitor brand performance and recommend adjustments to achieve objectives.
- Contract and Negotiation:
- Ensure shipping and payment terms are mutually beneficial.
- Manage pricing, discounts, and service level agreements.
- Administration:
- Handle diverse, fast-paced tasks with extreme attention to detail.
- Perform strategic administrative duties and filter tasks effectively.
- Problem-Solving and Conflict Resolution:
- Address and resolve client concerns promptly.
- Develop preventive strategies to mitigate future issues.
- Market and Industry Research:
- Stay informed on industry trends and competitive landscapes.
- Provide clients with relevant insights and solutions based on market knowledge.
- Sales and Revenue Targets:
- Support the BDM in achieving sales and budget targets for assigned markets.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
